Pitching grips:

4 seam fastball (note gap between the ball and the palm of the hand – don’t bury the ball in your hand):

2 seam fastball (as with the 4 seamer - don’t bury the ball in your hand):

3 finger change (best first changeup grip to learn – this time, do bury the ball in your hand):

Circle change (for bigger hands only – requires lots of practice):

Slider (mental image of spiraling a football – thrown slower, a decent fake curve):

Curveball (only for older boys, note fingers together & wrist crooked):

Basic pitching motion (stretch motion):

Good balance throughout, good separation between hips and shoulders (generates velocity), release point is high and out front (allows him to “throw down hill” to the batter).
